Of course, pellets alone will not solve all climate problems. It is, however, one of many sustainable contributions to a greater solution. Above all, it’s an attractive and renewable energy source, completely based on leftover material from local sawmills.

One of the reasons why residual products from Swedish sawmills are available to us in large and increasing volumes is that more buildings are built using wood. That’s a welcome development, as wood is the climate-smart substitute for most other building materials. We get the benefit of this in the form of a small-size, future-proof product that provides as much warmth and well-being as energy for the money.

Scandbio’s constant ambition is to deliver pellets that retain the same properties. To you, this means your need to adjust your burner is kept to a minimum. We ensure the quality level throughout the manufacturing process, from raw material to finished product. Everything is continuously monitored according to predetermined quality requirements using standardised measuring. In addition, you get the experience and knowledge we have gathered during more than 40 years.

You can also rest assured that we take responsibility for the forest. We purchase our residual products from suppliers who actively promote sustainable forestry. All our factories are certified to handle traceable and sustainable raw materials and products – and Scandbio as a company is certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001.
